Selection: Picking up or choosing the most competent candidate for the required post

Recruitment: To search or attract candidates
Selection: To choose or hire the most capable candidate

Selection: It refers to appointment

4. Nature

Recruitment: It is positive in nature because it attracts large number of candidates

Recruitment: First step. It means it is done before selection process starts
